Su Gordon- Graham from Attain has asked BPCF to post the following message.
Some of you may be aware that East Berkshire CCG has commissioned Attain Health Management to carry out a project which is focusing on ASD and ADHD service provision across Berkshire East.
Over the last few weeks Attain has met with stakeholders, parents/carers to review the current ASD and ADHD provision. The aim of the meetings has been to understand what are the current issues facing services supporting those with ASD and ADHD, the gaps, as well as good practice that is currently underway. We have also captured from parents/carers perspectives, their experience of ASD/ADHD services in Berkshire East from early signs through to diagnosis and support. Thanks to all of you who have been involved with the project so far and we look forward to meeting others over the next few weeks.
In addition to understanding the current state of provision, we want to work with stakeholders to co-design the future model of care.
We are therefore holding workshops in Slough, Bracknell and Windsor and Maidenhead to share with stakeholders:
An analysis of health care needs of those with ASD and ADHD
A summary of local people diagnosed and waiting lists
A summary of predicted numbers requiring support over 5, 10 and 20 years
A map of the current care pathways for commissioned services
The workshops will also focus on agreeing ‘what good looks like’ for ASD/ADHD services in Berkshire East and will have a number of exercises where we want your input to co-design a future holistic care model for those with ASD and ADHD. We do hope you can join us. The dates for the workshops are as follows:
Slough - Monday 29th April 10.00 - 12.30 Arbour Park
Bracknell – Wednesday 1st May 13.00 – 15.30 Open Learning Centre
Windsor and Maidenhead – 3rd May 13.30 – 16.00 Sport Able
There will be a final workshop where we share the outputs from the project and stakeholder engagement including a blueprint model of ASD/ADHD service for Berkshire East recommendations and next steps.
The final workshop will be held on 20th May 15.30 – 18.00 Arbour Park Slough.
If you are able to join us for the workshops, please hold the date(s) and reply to Christine Parker who will ensure your place is reserved. Please share this invite with people who will be interested and can contribute. Many thanks.
